The Joy of Trash is so close to publication I can taste it! And it tastes good! Like Trash!

Hey you beautiful people,
I hope this update finds you well. I am pleased to report that The Joy of Trash is very nearly finished. I had it professionally proof-read, which was very expensive but worth it, and now all that's left is for our brilliant designer to put it all together and then get a final blurb or two before I enter it into the system at Amazon and press "publish paperback"
Back when I was publishing books with Scribner and Abrams Image I had roughly four or five months to get blurbs and make sure the world was ready for my book. As an independent, I have something like four or five days, which isn't much!
I'm biased but I am over the moon with how The Joy of Trash has turned out. It's 270 pages of comic gold, an alternate take on the past half century of pop culture and also an exhaustive catalog of the many creative crimes of the Trump Years.
The good news is that the book turned out terrific. You paid to have something great brought into the world. The bad news is that I won't be able to get the book to you physically until after Christmas, in January.
Amazon is VERY busy Christmas season but I promise y'all it will be worth the wait!

As I write this, I am working on my 250th Control Nathan Rabin 4.0 entry but I am perpetually frustrated with myself that I am not more organized and methodical in the execution of Control Nathan Rabin 4.0.
So what I plan to do with the movies chosen as part of this campaign is publicly list every film chosen so that I have a rock-solid record of what you chose that you and I can both access whenever.
And while I won't have your print copy of The Joy of Trash ready in time for Christmas, my perpetual goal and one I perpetually fail at, I will happily send all of y'all the PDF of the book when it's available next week. I just ask that you not share it, as I REALLY need this book to be successful in order to, you know, remain in the game twenty-five years in.
