Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions for original pieces for my upcoming book on the worst of everything, The Joy of Trash.
In the 24 years I've been writing, I've covered a lot of your suggestions. Thankfully the world keeps introducing fascinatingly terrible things for me to write about.
So I will DEFINITELY be covering Claudia Conway's stint on American Idol.
The timing is particularly unfortunate, as thanks to FRAMING BRITNEY, we've never been more sensitive about the terrible price paid for thrusting vulnerable 16 year olds into the unforgiving glare of the tabloid/media spotlight.
So much to unpack!
I'm hoping to start posting original pieces here later this week.
